There is a deep connection between all these and the communities living in the region. All these experiential components will foster collaboration, cultural appreciation, and immersive learning.

Conservation Concerns

Coastal Karnataka faces several environmental challenges, including sand mining, mangrove destruction, plastic pollution, and unsustainable fishing practices. These pressures threaten the delicate balance of estuarine and marine ecosystems. The conversion of coastal land for tourism and infrastructure adds to habitat loss. Conservation efforts must emphasize community-led coastal stewardship, sustainable fishing, and awareness about marine conservation to protect these fragile environments.
